The Labastide Caves contain a remarkable collection of prehistoric cave art. Inside, you can see engravings and drawings depicting mainly animals such as horses, bison and reindeer, characteristic of the fauna of the time. These depictions bear witness to the skill and artistic sensibility of prehistoric people.
Every wall tells a story, gradually revealing the daily lives, beliefs and environment of these ancient peoples. The wealth of detail and the excellent state of preservation of the works make for a particularly captivating visit.

We spent a magical night at Les Cabanes du Lizon, in La Grange, and everything was perfect! We were completely charmed by the cosy atmosphere, the meticulous decor and the attention to detail. We loved the fact that everything was locally sourced, which gave the place even more authenticity. Special mention must go to the Nordic bath, a real moment of relaxation under the stars, and the view of horses and the Pyrenees the next morning! And what can I say about Denis, a top host, welcoming and passionate. Thank you for this timeless interlude, we'll be back and will be delighted to recommend it! 🥰
